UVU DEPARTMENT OF THEATRICAL ARTS PRESENTS “ELEPHANT’S GRAVEYARD”
The UVU School of the Arts is hosting a production of “Elephant’s Graveyard” from Dec. 1-10 at the Noorda Regional Theatre Center for Children and Youth located on the UVU Campus.
Both experienced and novice UVU theater students will perform the nationally award-winning George Brant script, which was based on a true story. Through vivid monologue, each character expresses the hardships of circus life in the early 1900’s, all leading to a shocking and unforgettable event.
According to the production’s director, Dr. Terry Petrie, audience members can expect to be witnesses to a powerful retelling of an historical, emotional, and tragic event in small town 1920’s America.
Tickets are $9 for general admission and $7 for students. You can purchase them at the School of the Arts box office located in the Noorda Theater or go online at www.uvu.edu/arts. For more information, call (801) 863-PLAY (5729)
